Beauties, the last few days I was caught in a loop. I wanted to change so many details on the court cards in the new MxS Casino deck, just to change something. I switched weapons, replaced axes with swords etc. But gladly I realized after a few days without looking at the files that I've focused on the wrong details.
I'll send the MxS Casino files to USPCC next week so that we hopefully have the deck by the end of September. In the coming weeks I'll show you more and more of the cards.
We've combined a lot great ideas in this deck. If you thought the Remedies already have the best features for your magic routines, wait until you see the MxS Casinos.
What you can see in the image looks like the Poker Guide card that you get in all recent Bee decks as an extra card. You can also really use it to remember the poker hands, but it actually really is a gaff card. This will be an additional card as well in the MxS Casino deck. The Poker Guide card shows you the order of a stacked deck. So you can simply place the card in front of you to figure out which card is on which position. Very brazen but also very effective.
Some of you may already know this gaff card with a different design from the Madison Hustlers. I googled the deck because I wanted to use the exact same order for this gaff. I typed in "Madison Hustler" in google images. DON'T do that. What a missing S can make in the end... :D
I asked USPCC if it would be possible to send me their Poker Guide card from their Bee deck. They have become very strict about sharing their files in recent years. That's why I was even more happy when they sent me the file. For me it was important to get this file, with the exact same font etc. I didn't just want to recreate the card. For some reason I find it very fascinating to see the original files from existing playing cards. And it's even better when I can customize them.
On the left you see the original file from USPCC. My customized version on the right.

Laymen probably even know the Poker Guide card from their game nights. So they would never get suspicious.
Some nerd talk at the end. If you have a Bee deck with the Poker Guide card lying around somewhere, grab it and take a look at the card. I have noticed some details on the card from USPCC that my urge for perfection actually doesn't allow. :D But since it's already printed like that in probably hundreds of thousands Bee decks, I also don't want to change it.
If you look at the top line in the image below you can see that the cards aren't 100% precisely aligned. You could argue it's normal because the cards are stacked on top of each other. That is correct, but then why the stack below the "2 Pair" is perfectly align? Actually every stack looks different. My inner Monk is not ok with this... I would have created only one frame for the cards and I would have copied and pasted it for every other hand to get a clean and matching look. But I get it, it probably was just quickly thrown together by someone during the work time.

But here is something I don't get at all... I hope someone can explain this to me but I think it simply makes no sense at all. "1 Pair", "2 Pair" and " 3 of a Kind" - it's all written with a number. "Four of a Kind" - the number is spelled out. Y tho?
Thanks fo reading :D
Much love
Daniel
