Exclusive Patreon Decks

Beauties, one of my main goals here on Patreon is to offer you exclusive content. Stuff that no one else can get. The Black Roses Supporter Edition was a huge step in the right direction but with USPCC’s minimum order quantity of 1000 decks, the print run of the Supporter Edition was too huge to offer it exclusively to you. Kickstarter backers who chose the First Come First Serve rewards in my last two Kickstarter campaigns also got them. Which is ok since they have spent a lot of their hard-earned money to get my cards and it doesn't really reduce the exclusivity. At the end there are still “just” 1000 decks.

Since a few weeks I’m thinking about a very limited golden Innocence deck. With Hanson Chien I'm able to print decks with a lower print run and the quality of the Black Roses x Hanson Chien deck far exceeded my expectations so that I would love to print this deck with him.

You can find an extra 8 of Spades in all my Innocence decks with a gold metallic inked back. When I first opened the Innocence deck, I was disappointed by the golden color. I’ve simply imagined it way more golden and shinier. But over the years I started to love it more and more. It’s even great that the color isn't too extreme.

Several decks are waiting right now to get finished. So I can’t really focus on this to 100%. But with Hanson Chien there are also new possibilities for me. Different tuck, inside print etc. So much new options to think about.

As you may already know the Innocence deck is very close to my heart, that’s why this deck would be a beautiful exclusive deck with a real personal value and not just a new deck that I simply print to give you something new but without any value at all.

My perfectionism kicks in at this moment. The Innocence deck already exists. I simply could send everything to Hanson and I tell him to print it with a golden back. Same with the Black Remedies. Here is my "problem" that probably separates me from 99% of all people who print cards. I need several weeks where I need to check every single card and every single detail again if I can do any changes. I need to know for myself that what I’m doing is not lazy. I know some of you appreciate the love in every detail, but this love is also the reason why I always need way too long for everything. And the best part, it’s something the majority make fun of because for them everything looks like a simple color change. These people put me in the same category as the people who really just do color changes. It's not necessarily something bad, but I couldn't be further away from what these people are doing.

Long story short, I want to print 500 decks as exclusive Patreon decks in the future. I only want to sell or give away 300 of them. It’s not impossible that I have a new idea tomorrow that could be the next Patreon deck. It’s just important for me that you can see that I put my heart into it.
