The first MetalLuxe Black Roses

Beauties, I realized I stress myself way too much because of future deck releases, even though I know that I have all the time in the world.

Right now I'm thinking about five new deck releases after the Dondorf campaign. I know that can't be healthy so I try to slow down a bit. But as a workaholic it's a also difficult for me to do less or nothing. I know I need to find a healthy work life balance but there isn't as lot life at the moment with all the lockdowns...

I also want to print at least one exclusive Patreon deck in the near future. You should receive something great that nobody else can get. The Black Roses Supporter Edition was a good step in the right direction but because of the minimum order quantity of 1000 decks it wasn't really possible to make this deck Patreon exclusive. I'll post more about it in a separate post very soon.

Since the very first Black Roses Hotel deck I knew I want a blue and a pink Hotel deck as well. We printed the blue deck last year so I could print the pink deck now. But I don't feel this color anymore as I did at the beginning. I'm still a huge fan of pink decks, I just think it looks a bit boring on the Hotel backs.

I already wrote something about a turquoise Black Roses deck in this post. If you've read that you may can imagine why I want to see my Hotel deck printed with silver foil. I'm 100% convinced that this is a brutally nice combination with turquoise.

There are two cons that my overthinking mind is giving me. The color comes to close to the first edtion and MetalLuxe is expensive af. Two reasons I need to think about. But the idea to use MetalLuxe is already so stuck in my head that I don't want to do it without it anymore.

2500 decks with MetalLuxe on the cards and the tuck would cost around $6 - $6.5 per deck in production.
So around 10K more just for the foil - the real reason why a lot people choose different companies instead of USPCC to print their foil deck.

I was afraid that the white lines on the Hotel back design could be too thin for MetalLuxe so I opened the only gold foil Rounders deck that I have and THIS DECK IS SO AMAZING!!!! :D One more reason for me to print my first MetalLuxe deck. But I want to wait with gold foil until 2024 for the ten year Black Roses anniversary.

Let me know what you think.

Much love

Daniel

Yes! I'm also thinking about calling them "Tiffany's". I just don't know yet if I would get in trouble. :D

Also... this makes me think of Tiffany's jewelry... in fact, i have a Tiffany's deck of cards somewhere... they were given to me when my grandma passed. Theyre pretty cool...

Metalluxe will look AMAZING with a black roses deck. Especially the way you have it rendered. Subtle and distinguished πŸ”₯πŸ”₯
