What you see on the image is an idea that I have since I started to work on the Dondorf deck in 2018. I wanted to print the deck with the original tuck box. This tuck box is one reason why it took me forever to send the deck into production. The standard USPCC tuck box is more or less a compromise.
But I called a press shop today who can produce these tucks with me. Finally! I get a quote next Monday. It should be affordable. Let's hope for the best.
It would be a dream if every deck could have this tuck box but because of organisational reasons I can already say it's not really possible. With the standard tuck box I'm also still able to offer you the Dondorf deck to a very fair price. 10€ for one deck and 19€ for two decks, like in all my Kickstarter campaigns so far.
My goal was it to print 250 boxes but I need to print at least 500. Anything below 500 makes no sense because of higher production costs. But I can also split the designs. For example 2 x 250 or 4 x 125 different tucks. I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do.
I'll sign and number every box as well.
Let me know if you like this idea. I'm thinking about making them available in the First Come First Serve Reward in the first few minutes. After that you can only get them as add-on.
Below you can see some photos of the original tuck box - no it wasn't me who put tape on it :D
