One-Year Anniversary

Exactly a year ago today, I created this Patreon page without really knowing where the journey is taking us. I really had no big expectations so that I was completely overwhelmed by your support. In 2019 my Kickstarter campaigns already reached funding goals that I could never have dreamed of two years earlier. But the first few patrons hit me emotional harder than any funding goal on Kickstarter could do. In a Kickstarter campaign I understand that people are there to get a product. But on Patreon I know you are mainly here to support me and my work. There is no better way of confirming that what you are doing canβt be completely wrong.
It was never more complicated for me than in the past 12 months to deal with all the negative and hateful things that people said about me and my work. βNothing is bigger than the envy of the unsuccessful.β I keep that in mind and keep moving forward. But without your support and kind words on some bad days I would probably have gone completely nuts by now.
Thank you for being a part of my journey! It means more to me than I could ever put into words.

When I get a package from Black Roses, I'm like a little kid opening a present (and sometimes I am literally opening a present, although I'm at best a big old kid). Never had an issue, never had a regret for jumping on board when you first announced your Patreon page. Congratulations on the anniversary!
