As you already know from the Lavender's, I'm not the biggest fan of gilded decks, when the goal is to slap any fancy color onto the edges so that people are going to order it.
In my last campaign it was easily possible to create a few different gilded versions. But I still think silver was the only color that really fits to the Black Roses Lavender Playing Cards. For the Dondorf Playing Cards, gold gilded edges were the first idea that came into my mind to create a look and feel that is even more vintage. Silver also sounds like a very nice option again but I'll decide that spontaneously. This time I'll also create a numbered box set for two gilded decks.

Kickstarter has approved my Dondorf campaign yesterday and we could already start to collect followers for the project but I still wanna wait a few more days. I think we will lose momentum if we start it too early. The optimal condition would be to start the campaign when the Black Roses Lavender's are finished. However, it's possible that the Lavender's are still in the final steps of production when I launch the Dondorf deck at the beginning of June. But at least an end is in sight and both projects wouldn't cross each other somewhere in the middle.
Let me know what you think about the gold gilded Dondorf deck or gilded decks in general in the comments. And please let me know if an unfinished / unfulfilled deck would keep you from supporting the next one.
Much love
Daniel
