It wasn't my idea to make a big mystery out of the Black Roses box but I thought it could be interesting to see your reactions. And damn... Over 45 gilded decks are already sold - and you didn't even know what you purchase! I'm very proud and grateful.
Here they are - the first gilded Black Roses Playing Cards.
One gilded Lavender deck: 25€
Two gilded Lavender decks: 45€
Four gilded Lavender decks: 85€
IMPORTANT: Only if you purchase more than one gilded deck you'll receive the Black Roses box in the image on top.
Send me a message when you raise your pledge so that I know that it really is for the gilded decks and not for the Polyanthas. All non-patrons will also pay 1-2€ more for more than one deck.

The gilded Black Roses Lavenders have a silver metallic foil on the edges. Some gildings often clash with the deck design. I definitely wanted to avoid that and silver just looks perfect. It's very classy and elegant without being intrusive.

Something that cannot be prevented when you use a deck - the edges will wear out over time and the foil will come off. Therefore, silver foil is also one of the best solutions for deck gilding. The contrast to the white cards isn't that huge so that it isn't really noticable.

I want to be honest, I've always found gilded decks unnecessary. But mainly for two reasons that I have tried to avoid as good as I can. First reason, the design / color clash.
And second reason, the price. Gilded decks that you can buy only for $50-150 as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Some insides for you:
For the Lavenders I pay around $2.00-2.50 per deck. Gilding (minimum quantity: 144 decks) costs $6 extra. So let's just say $8 for one gilded deck in the production.
Now you could think then it should be only the normal retail price ($12) plus $6 for the extra costs - $18 deck.
Wholesalers want a non-negotiable 60% discount. 40% of $18 is $7.20. So if you would sell your deck for this price to a wholesaler you would lose money. That's why the price for gilded decks for $25-35 is still very fair.
Gilded decks need 8-10 weeks longer until they are finished.
That's why you'll receive your gilded Lavender decks a few weeks later in a separate package.
To make it easier for you I've included the shipping costs already in the add-on price.
I know it is a lot money so I decided to make two decks a little bit more affordable for you and you'll also receive the Black Roses box for free on top.
Much love
Daniel
