Dondorf "Ad Cards"

I've putting it off over and over again to write the text for one of the "ad cards" in the Dondorf deck. For the history and the meaning of this deck I didn't just want to add another duplicate or gaff card to the deck, without explaining myself a bit.

I also had to distract myself a bit so that I don't think about the Lavender launch all the time. It took me a few hours to write the text today. It's important for me to find the right words. This deck will still be there when we are already gone. I think it is a nice thought to leave this informations for posterity as well.

I'm still not 100% sure about the text layout. And maybe the back design will be the same text in German or just the back design of the deck.

Kindly note the strong resemblance between the King of Diamonds and Daniel's great-great grandfather, Dondorf Schneider. Uncanny!

I think that "financial year" does not add to the fact of the tremendous output this company produced. I suggest "from 1918 to 1919 nine (as a word) million cards were sold". Also I suggest you describe what the deck is, and not what the deck is not: where it says " is not an exact reprint" I would change to "this deck combines Dondorf American style face cards" and your remainder text

Damn, you are right, thanks! :)

This is great, one note re: "It is my homage those almost forgotten art pieces." is there a "to" missing between "homage" and "those"? In other words, should it read: "It is my homage to those almost forgotten art pieces."

Perfect, thank you!

Well written. If I could make 1 change, it would be the first word. I think you don't need "the," you could simply start it with "Lithographer..." and it would read smoother. The information within is fantastic tho and i love it!
