Black Roses Casino "ad cards"
Added 2020-08-10 23:36:11 +0000 UTCBeauties, right now I'm struggling really hard with neurodermatitis and their side effects. Dyshidrosis - google it if you wanna get shocked. Nothing new for me. I've had these problems for as long as I can remember. No Covid. :D
Besides that I'm working on finishing the Orbits and the new Black Roses decks. So please forgive me that I was a bit quiet in the last few days here on Patreon. You'll also receive a message soon about the free deck(s) which are a part of your 9€ and 19.02€ tier.
Time is running out if all decks still should get printed this year. That's why I will send the Hotel / Casino files to USPCC this week. I absolutely hate working under time pressure but the positive part is that things really get done.
USPCC currently need around 5-6 weeks for prepress. After 6 weeks the Black Roses Hotel / Casino Kickstarter campaign is over. Then I also know how many Hotel decks we are going to print. Normally you clarify all these details before you sign the contract with USPCC. But everything is different this year anyway.
Today I also finished the files for the Innocence re-release. The deck will have my redrawn face cards. I optimized them again for the Innocence deck to make the smallest details even better. A ridiculous amount of work for the smallest details that probably nobody will notice. But you already know I'm not satisfied with less than possible. I'll send the new Innocence files to USPCC this week as well. Maybe I start a pre-order for the deck after my next Kickstarter campaign is over.
However, check out the images. Besides Madison I decided to add a casino cut card to the Black Roses Casino deck. I don't want to add gaff cards to the Hotel and Casino decks and a cut card for a casino deck makes the most sense to me. Madisons original court card has so many different layers that I went crazy by the attempt to recolor it. That's why the second Black Roses Casino deck is the first deck where I've added Madisons face onto my redrawn King of Diamonds. Only if you look close you see the differences.
