Of course you chose a tier so you don't go empty-handed but it's different for example compared to a Kickstarter campaign where backers are mostly just interested to get the product. I don't need to lie, it feels great that you are interested in what I'm doing.
If you own the Black Roses Altrosa deck you know the idea for a blue backed Black Roses deck is already stuck in my head for quite a while. Actually I wanted to print this deck with the Red Roses Playing Cards Kickstarter campaign in 2018. But 2 x 2500 decks with only 1 campaign seemed a bit too much for me at that point.
This color also deserves a separate Kickstarter campaign. I already wanted to do a campaign for these cards last year but the Black Roses Hotel deck thwarted my plans...
The current plan is to start the campaign in August. Right now I‘m trying to figure out if I want to keep the court card colors standard or if I change them slightly.
Your thoughts on everything will be greatly appreciated.

Regarding to the color of the faces, my opinion would be to keep standard colors fitting with those of the other decks. It will open so many possibilities for tricks in which You can switch back designs without flashing anything. You can change some court faces it could be interesting but in my opinion standard colors will provide more facilities for deceptive performances

2020-04-13 16:56:01 +0000 UTCI agree with previous posts. I think custom courts with color way to fit deck seems right. It’s what I love most about all DS decks. The other thing I love is how they feel. Nothing handles like a Black Roses deck. Doesn’t matter which deck you are using.

Whenever I recieve a new Black Roses deck, the first thing I do is look at the courts to see "who" is in there! I like how the courts often have just a little different colorway than normal, in a way it fits the deck. My opinion is to do make the colorway of the court cards fit the color of the deck! 😁

I'm on the fence, part of me would enjoy seeing the originals maintained and yet, slight modifications might bring out a certain freshness! Much love and respect. Whatever decision you make will be the right one.
