Microsoft Defender Block
Added 2024-04-01 16:19:10 +0000 UTCAs some of you may know from other indie and Renpy games, Microsoft Defender's 'SmartScreen' blocks games it doesn't recognize, which is very inconvenient for many indie developers. Blocking reason is: Publisher unknown. The Situation is very well described here. I'm looking for a solution to this problem. As long as the only reason from Microsoft Defender is "Publisher unknown" you can play the game you download from the link here without any problems. If you still have safety concerns, let your antivirus software scan the file beforehand. Above, you can see what you need to click on, but unfortunately, it's in German (I think in english it is: Click -> "More Info", Click -> "Run Anyway").
