AniFS - Patreon Update 2025

Dear Members,

First and foremost, I want to sincerely thank my patrons who have stuck with me all this time, your support truly means a lot!

Starting next month, I’ll be making a few changes to my Patreon. Don't worry, these updates won’t negatively impact current patrons.

Lately, I’ve noticed an increasing number of people joining, downloading everything, and then canceling right after. While everyone has the right to subscribe and unsubscribe as they wish, I feel this is somewhat unfair to our long time supporters who help fund the creation of these scripts.

With that in mind, I’ve decided to implement some changes.

Changes Starting Next Month:

If you prefer not to use Discord, you’ll still have time to download scripts from Patreon. However, on Discord, you’ll have indefinite access as long as your membership remains active.

If you have any questions or thoughts about these changes, feel free to share them in the comments or send me a DM!

You still have time. If you're in the Discord, you’ll have permanent access to everything. People can also DM me if they missed out.

I haven't gotten around to downloading all the past stuff yet tho D:

Thanks for your input! I’m not sure about making suggestions an exclusive feature, but I’ve been thinking of ways to reward ongoing supporters, such as extended suggestion limits, early releases, or a five-minute request for every X months of support. And yeah, I don’t expect anyone to subscribe forever, so I was considering a resubscription feature where, if you’ve subscribed for a total of, say, three months, you’d still have access to everything. However, this would require people to be in the Discord, as Patreon’s features and setup options are quite limited.

I totally get wanting to make things fair for long-time supporters, and I respect that. I was thinking—what if instead of restricting access to past scripts, you made script requests or suggestions a perk for loyal members? As someone who subs and unsubs depending on life stuff, I still really appreciate your work, but I also haven’t made script requests recently. Maybe that’s something that could be an exclusive benefit for people who stick around longer? That way, longtime supporters still get something special without making new members feel like they’re missing out. Just a thought! Either way, I appreciate what you do and wanted to share another perspective.
