Anyone with a swinggraphs subscription wanna tell me whether THATS why Patrick wisdom is playing so well or if we’re just gonna see regression to the mean?

Went ahead and looked up how many times the triple crown of IP/ERA+/FIP has been accomplished since 1947 - 1964 Dean Chance 1966 Sandy Koufax*# 1972 Steve Carlton* 1980 Steve Carlton# 1985 Dwight Gooden* 1986 Mike Scott 1989 Orel Hershiser 1989 Bret Saberhagen# 1991 Roger Clemens 1992 Greg Maddux 1993 Greg Maddux 1994 Greg Maddux# 1995 Greg Maddux 1997 Roger Clemens*# 1999 Randy Johnson 2006 Johan Santana* * - Won actual Triple Crown # - Triple Crown across both leagues 16 'Advanced' Triple Crowns have been won since 1947, which is quite similar to the 14 actual Triple Crowns that have been won in MLB in that time. Some interesting facts, 80 out of the total 152 AL/NL seasons, or just over half, have had a player win at least 2/3 categories. Unsurprisingly, winning ERA+ and FIP but missing IP is the most common, happening 48 times. Roger Clemens and Pedro Martinez won 2/3 categories 5 times, missing IP each of those 5. A few players had close calls, Tom Seaver (1973) had the 3rd most IP, falling just 3.1 IP short. Roy Halladay (2011) and Jacob deGrom (2018) both came in 2nd in IP and 3.2 IP short. Justin Verlander (2012) finished 2nd in FIP at only 0.1 behind 1st, and Sam McDowell (1970) came in 3rd for ERA+ at 5 lower than 1st.
