Two paragraphs in, I had it locked that Beef was going to completely spaz out on coffee, cue laugh track over a perfectly serviceable moment from a character with sensitivities. Instead, personal growth.

Least caffeine content and extraction without being chemically decaf and still recognizably coffee and able to be consumed rapidly if not on ice. And tangerine peel even more than other citrus is a potent mood booster so it makes sense he would gravitate to it. The confidence that emerged from this situation was well earned. YAY BEEF!
