2020-10-29 22:10:52 +0000 UTCjust do high impact exercise more lean muscle = more engagement of IL-6 each time you exercise it doesn't seem to directly encourage the production or numbers of immune cells as per say, but the natural killer (NK) cells which make up a lot of your early prevention capability (and are responsible partly for preventing metastasis) get recruited to traffic the body more vigilantly each time you do so the theory goes that more immune trafficking -> higher cancer prevention and even with active tumors or cancers -> lower tumor burden from greater assault on the cancerous tissues, temporarily suspending immunoevasive mechanisms by the tumor microenvironment
