Strange Gift 0.10 Progress
Added 2018-12-12 19:20:02 +0000 UTCI'm excited about the progress I've made so far this week for Strange Gift 0.10 -- so much so that I'm going to suggest that if you were planning to play a current or previous version, you wait until Monday to play this one.
I'm still madly rendering away, but 0.10 will finally contain all the locations, which means it includes a final confrontation with Loki, as well as a chance to rid the town of darkness once and for all. I just playtested what I've done so far, and (with admittedly a lot of inside information on how to play the game well) I beat the game, but not by much.
It also met my target of being playable in less than two hours -- again, everyone's speed varies, and I'm not spending a lot of time looking at the renders as I'm obviously very familiar with them. (On the other hand, I did lose a little time fixing typos and bugs.)
Whether you win or fall short, there will still be the opportunity to keep playing -- whether that be to enslave all the girls, or to see a scene you missed.
There will also be two new renders for all the girls, and the girls will be in a variety of poses in them -- not just every girl rendered in the same pose. There's a new scene involving Olivia at the pool, and a number of renders associated with the end game.
I'll be continuing to add renders and make some minor changes the next few days, and do more playtesting, but... that much, I'm sure I can deliver on.
