The future, and my philosophy.
Added 2017-06-09 02:24:38 +0000 UTCAt some point, Bondage Island will be finished. I've passed a sort of hump recently. As I get new ideas for the game, or see things that need fixing, I add them to a Trello board. As I do them, I move them to the done column. Just recently I've gotten to the point where I'm doing things faster than I'm adding things to be done, so the "to do" list is shrinking.
That means at some point, my "to do" list is going to be about making another erotic game entirely. So what kind of game? I have a few ideas in my head. But in the most general terms, this is what's important to me about Bondage Island, and will be present in any future game I might make.
1. You don't have to be jerk to get the girls. No mind control, blackmail, etc. All the sex is consensual.
2. There are multiple people you can have sexual encounters with, and it is possible to have meaningful continuing relationships with them.
3. It will be necessary to make choices of who and what to focus on, and how. Good game play requires meaningful choices.
4. Kinky BDSM interactions and Dominance/submission will be central to the story line, because that's something I really like.
5. You shouldn't have to click through a whole bunch of things to get to the good stuff. Almost every click should bring you something necessary, sexy, or funny.

OH, goodness no, I would not consider it "corrupt" but having been unable to come up with the word I wanted, I defaulted back to what (based on several of the games I have seen) the general population seems to refer to as corruption (minus any mind control). Which is of course why I put it in quotes. I will have to go back and take another (longer) look at Eros Academy. As a 30+ year veteran of table top rpgs, a decade of stage acting and a few years working Ren Faire, and a life long reader, I fully appriciate and support character development and depth, the more of it there is, the more I like it (and story, give me a good story of course, lol.

I appreciate that the word "corruption" was in quotes. :) Doing something with a little more character development is something I'm looking forward to.

2017-06-11 15:44:27 +0000 UTCYou might want to think about something in the "corruption" catagory. It seems to me you could and would do it justice. To many writers/designers seem to think you have to use mind control or drugs or some other extreme measure to "corrupt" someone. Where as all it really is, is the person in question changing points of view, he/she could go from a studgy uptight prude to a open free spirited sub/Dom, or anything in between. It also obviously works with BDSM, relationships and anything else you want to imcorporate. And the whole thing can be as meaningful or hollow as you want to allow the players to make it.
