But have you considered options for lower effort content on patreon? I guess that's partly what this is, but it still seems like pretty high effort from where I'm sitting (researching the updates, listening to the voice messages, all of that is work, and it goes through the same editing process, etc etc etc) I'm thinking things like "here is me telling this half remembered scary story I heard a few years ago" "here's me talking about a really good meal I like to make" "here's my thoughts on the tv I've been watching during lockdown" stuff you can record and edit and blast out. Or even "here's me talking for ten minutes about what I focused on behind the scenes of the next season this week" You seem like a bit (a lot) of a perfectionist, which I get, but you can't keep working 60-80 hour weeks and achieving the quality of output you want to if you start running out of drive, and it sounds like the comments that don't get how hard you work and how much you do work are draining some of that drive, not to mention the state of the world taking its toll. Idk, just a bit of a thought to maybe let you cut yourself more of a break on patreon content and stuff, because wanting to put out Patreon content that's going through the same process as the main feed is doubling your work, even if they're "small" stories.

But I just have to. Because I also produce content to an audience where I do massive amounts of work, and I don't think people understand how even one dickhead like this can demotivate the hell out of you. I actually stopped making my content for years because of losers like David Magazzinich, YEARS, and the break was worth it, but I miss doing what I did. So I want to take you down a peg if only to show support to ACC. Don't let them run you off. Don't let them demotivate you. It's a severe battle to keep going in the first place, especially when you're making pennies, when you're getting attacked like this. So it's nice to see your audience put dickheads in their place. I'm happy to help! I want to ignore everything David said here and bring this up: $5 a month. $5 a fucking month. You think your pissy $5 a month is enough to produce this show? You don't read your own comment and realize that a human being is producing something that makes thousands of people happy for $5 a month? You think the time is equal to that amount of money, beloved? The biggest lesson here is to shut the fuck up and take your $5 elsewhere if it bothers you so much, hun. Buy a beer. Get a burger. Do anything else, but don't force us to read your boring and inane complaints about a service that you are paying next to nothing for taking a break for a small amount of time. $5 a month for a professionally produced service that probably takes your rent or mortgage to make (literally, just because a person does the job themselves doesn't mean it's cheaper to produce - you pay in time and health instead of money, but the cost doesn't go away), and you're complaining about a few months off. Truly a crazy timeline. Eat dick.

And yet I continuously get nothing but unrealistic deadlines and flack when I need an extra day. Do you want it done right, or do you want it done fast? Can't usually have both at the same time.

She's amazing with her YouTube MMM series, but her podcast is too scripted and lost her pizzaz. Sometimes it's best not to change the formula. Just my thoughts.
