Introducing ExtraValuedListener™
Added 2019-07-10 19:26:42 +0000 UTCIt has always been my goal to provide the ValuedListeners™ with physical rewards along with the digital bonuses. Personally, I think it's nice to have something tactile to show for your support in this modern world of 1s and 0s. But with the recent influx of new patrons (thank you thank you thank you), that goal has become seemingly impossible.
The process of packing and mailing 2,000, let's say, stickers is incredibly time and financially intensive. Not to mention the returned packages, the opt-in process, and the whole customer service requirement that goes along with it. It's maddening, and I do not want to hire someone specifically for this task. I’d rather keep the operation as small as possible. Simply put, providing every ValuedListener™ free merchandise on a regular basis is a waste of resources. There's also the consideration that most of this stuff will end up in the ocean some day…
That said, I like designing the stuff! And I like knowing that there are real people out there representing. So, I've come up with a solution…
The ExtraValuedListener™. A new $10-tier for those of you who want to receive free merch on top of all the other benefits already provided to the $5-tier.
No more opt-ins. No more tracking you down for your address. No more patrons left out.
ExtraValuedListeners™ will receive ALL physical benefits, including the welcome package you see above, which includes:
- Limited edition 1.75" button pack (hand-numbered and autographed by ACC)
- A 3" circle logo sticker
- A 3" cover art sticker
For those of you who have already joined without hearing the details first, I thank you for your blind faith. For those of you who are already paying $10+, you will need to edit your membership and select the new tier. Everyone else can adjust their pledge here. And make sure your address is up-to-date!
This new tier will make it so much easier for everybody. I hope you understand. Thanks for your continued support.

Sadly for me I can't justify the personal budget to upgrade, and the free stuff was enough of a draw that seeing it from now on will just make me salty. I suppose after this month I'll be turning my $5 increments into a slow savings up for the merch store. :|
