Upcoming changes to tiers, please read.

Hey guys, thanks so much for your patience this month. Like I wrote in my last update, August has been a lot more hectic than planned for and I´ve fallen behind on getting new releases finished this month.

And just quickly to calm any misconceptions that may have arisen from my last post: I am perfectly fine, and not suffering from any kind of burnout or biological breakdowns. Its more that there was a lot of laundry to do, and accounting, and emails that needed answering, and a kid who needs help with math. All that everyday-jazz.

Good news is that I´m starting to catch back up again, and I expect to have another release or two ready by the 31st. Yay! I still promised I would deliver more than that, so for anyone who supported at the Wanderer or Merchant tier, I will be retroactively sending you some more models next month, as soon as they are ready :)

In my mind, sculpting 3-5 miniatures in a month seems perfectly reasonable. In reality, theres a million things that can conspire to cause delays. As the company grows and the range expands, so does the administrative work! And sometimes a miniature might take me a day to make. Sometimes it takes me more than a week.

And if theres one thing I don´t like doing, it is to release inferior products just to maintain a quantitative output. Or worse, fail to deliver on a promise. So I would rather underpromise and overdeliver, which is what I aim to do instead.

So what I would like to do going forward is revert to the original plan for the Patreon, which was more about community engagement than product release.

The main focus will be on developing 1 character miniature each month, voted on by the community, from concepting, to sculpting, to painted miniature. It might even be fun to develop rules and stats for the character, for various game systems, to include with the release.

Moving in to the 1 mini/ month pace should also free me up to more thoroughly work on larger releases like modular troopers, or more critters, or terrain sets, and all that stuff, without the drastic monthly deadline. I will extend those releases to a 3 month cycle, to ensure they are properly developed and ready for release in a timely fashion.

I also retain the right to give away gifts or additional miniatures as I see fit, but 1 mini/ month will be the baseline ;)

Starting in September, the tiers will be restructured in to something a little more sensible. I have already made the new tiers available, so I would love it if you could go have a look at them, and pick a new one. I will retire the existing Wanderer tier(s) on the 31st, but as I can´t delete them as long as there are supporters subscribed to them, for anyone who does´nt cancel their support or pick a new tier, I shall be issuing refunds.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you all so much for your patience and support. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them below. I will also be available on the Livestream tomorrow between 12AM - 2PM CEST :)

Cheers,

Sonny

PS: I recently adopted kittens. And while they may not be the cause of any delays, they could be considered a mild compounding factor. They certainly don´t make very good assistants.

Because this is the internet, and you just sat through a wall of text asking you to do something proactively, please enjoy a cute cat video as a reward.

Moved from Wanderer to Warlord, keep up the great work!

Thats correct.

We don't get charged again (for August) by switching tiers if the price is the same, right?
