MLP: The Movie - A second chance

This is a little tribute to one of the final scenes of the movie, where Tempest has saved Twilight and then she saved Tempest. I didn't want to include the scepter because I wanted to make the drawing peaceful.
I had some problems with the shadows. I asked my teacher what color was the most appropiated for this one, desaturated purple or desaturated blue. He said that purple is better because he drawing is supposed to be happy.

I'm realizing that I need some images to recreate textures like one of the last drawings I've made. This background feels a bit flawed without these textures.
The shipping doesn't stop here. The next one will be about Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. Well, kinda.
