Rewatching this with you I realised how dull the first half actually is and how contrived the last half is! For a finale it's lack luster. Ep 10 should have been the finale - have the tease of a new case as set up for the next case, and then they could have built this properly

2025-09-21 00:05:16 +0000 UTCThe difference between this and Walker is one is CW 22 episodes and this is a shorter season streamer. We've come to expect more from streaming, Countdown seems like it should be a 22 ep procedural. I got way more invested in Walker than Countdown. But I did prefer Big Sky to both shows! They both had characters that you cared about more. Countdown I barely know much about the characters we have and the little we do have isn't that interesting. I kinda hope this doesn't get renewed so Jensen can work on more interesting things.

Gotta see whatever Jensen does. :( For me, it was just as bad watching Jared in Walker. I suffered through the first two seasons and did actually quit it, but then they added Jake Abel to the cast and I went back, lol.
