I don't know if it makes it any better, but I think their attraction to each other IS the age difference. Or, at least the life experience differences. I think Buck is reaching a stage in his life when his ego is making room for empathy. Seeing Abby's perspective, her job and how she takes care of her mother, are a step in that journey. On Abby's side, she's getting a guy who makes her feel young and sexy, and who doesn't need anything from her. It feels a little yucky, because it almost comes off as a student/teacher relationship.

2025-08-31 18:09:43 +0000 UTCI’m enjoying this show and these characters the more and more we go on! I’m getting really fond of them now. And I feel absolutely terrible for Bobby.. the fact he’s even able to get out of bed in the morning, as you said, is such an achievement honestly. I also feel the exact same about Buck and Abby. I don’t care about age gap relationship if both parties are consenting adults, but the difference in emotional maturity is just too great for me to invest and buy into the relationship. I wonder how long it will last! I can’t imagine that they're ‘endgame’, but who knows. There are so many seasons to come!
