[IMPORTANT] A patron who probably just stopped being a patron
Added 2017-09-02 19:35:39 +0000 UTCHi.
Today, at 12 AM, one patron decided to support me. That was cool and I wanted to send him a note which I would appreciate him.
However, when I decided to do that (much later), he was no longer a support of my work. He supports other artists, but apparently he decided to pledge 5$ and, hours or minutes later, pooofff, gone. No longer a support.
Because of that, I sent him a quick email, but I don't think that would solve anything.
Don't hold me to this, but I think he pledged 5$ so he could get access to some content and then he stopped being my patron. I don't come up with another possibility.
I'm not sure if this is going to be a thing, but, after some shit I was dealing with, this is the kind of moment I want the least. This is not an unique situation and I've already read something similar to this:

If you have an idea of how to report this or where I should report (or another solution), please let me know.
Love,
RT

it doesn't need reporting, the patron didn't do anything that breaks any sort of terms or conditions. They exchanged 5 dollars for access to everything you have posted and then removed their pledge so they're not charged again next month. It's actually extremely common. A lot of artists are getting in the habit of just making art packs that they e-mail out to everyone at the end of each pay period as a work-around for this, but the downside there is that an artist's archive is no longer readily available to their patrons. The best you can do is look at it from a different perspective: someone just payed you 5 dollars for your art and then went on their merry way, sort of like selling a book of your work to someone at your art booth. Maybe you can find another way to incentivise patrons to continue to support your work each month? I feel like you already do a lot and you're a really good patreon creator, but I guess maybe if you think of something else to add then it might prevent that from happening again. sorry if that's not much help
