Radious Total War Mod - Warhammer 3 - Updated 13.08.2022

Hello Everyone, Team Radious here!

We have for you a more subdued set of news today, which we know are most likely going to be eclipsed by the looming release of the Immortal Empires beta, but we want to share them with you nevertheless, as we feel that they are important to get across before the updating frenzy starts and everybody’s attention will be focused elsewhere.

This weekend we are releasing a smaller update for our overhaul, which is most likely the last one ahead of IE’s release (bar any hotfixes necessary to get rid of reported bugs). It contains a host of balance changes and other tweaks, but also two new Chaos lords for the Tzeentch and Slaanesh factions – the Renegade Sorcerer and the Flawless King respectively. Both fulfil a niche which we felt were missing rom these factions, and both a liable to potential changes when IE comes out, but we hope that they make your games more varied and enjoyable!

The Renegade Sorcer, as the name suggests, is a corrupted mortal in the service of Tzeentch, wielding one of the three lores of magic (either Death, Dark, or Shadows). His inclusion was driven by the fact that, despite being the god of magic, Tzeentch had a rather limited choice of caster lords at his disposal.

The Flawless King is a peerless mortal warrior who has surrendered fully to the excesses of Slaanesh. He is a considerable force on the battlefield, particularly in individual combat. Being a seasoned duellist first, and a bloodthirsty and frenzied peon of the Dark Prince a very, very close second; his technique is impeccable and his does not harbour any remorse.

- Additional small preparations for Immortal Empires release,

- Additional unit balancing,

- Additional AI strength calculation increase when attacking walled settlements,

- Improved aura of Grail Relique - on top of leadership buff it now provides small defence and physical resist buffs,

- Steam Tank now has 10% missile and physical resist,

- Dwarf Warriors (Long Axes) now have charge defence vs large and also charge reflect ability,

- Several additional fixes for various unit attributes,

- Rebalanced Daemon Instability to match the effects of our existent Undead Instability, reducing damage suffered but adding some debuffs,

- Daemons of each god will be affected by a different penalty when their leadership is broken but suffering less casualties in the process,

- Several unit cards updated,

- Several smaller bug fixes,

- Various balance changes across all factions,

- Fixed a bug which caused the Celestial Champion to spawn with Yin traits only,

- Added a new Lord to the Tzeentch factions – the Renegade Sorcerer (Death, Dark, and Shadows)

- Added a new Lord to the Slaanesh factions – the Flawless King,

- Fixed incorrect portholes for the Khorne Wrathcaller,

- Added the Skill Dump skills to the new lords

- Added support for the new lords to the 4SP and 3 SP submods,

- Added missing support for the Khorne Wrathcaller to the 4SP and 3SP submods


If you have any issues/crashes etc:

1. Avoid using any mods not created by our team if you are not 100% sure about compatibility, always best to ask us directly first on our social media/discord etc.,

2. Make sure you have no mods or mod remains in your Data folder of the game.

3. Make sure your game is always updated to latest Live build. Do NOT use any beta builds! Avoid beta tabs in steam game settings/properties entirely, there should be always selected - no beta participation. If you have anything else there you asking for big troubles.

4. Unsubscribe from all of your mods. Then, go to your Steam\Steamapps\Workshop\Content folder and delete the 1142710 folder. Resubscribe to your mods and start the launcher to let it download everything again. Try launching the game.

5.  If the above step doesn’t work, go to C:\Users(Your Username)\AppData\Roaming. Back up your saves from The Creative Assembly folder there, and then delete the whole folder. Cloud saves will not be affected. Start the game.

6. Verify game cache.

7. Use KMM launcher.
