Radious Total War Mod - Warhammer III Blog Entry #4

Hello everyone, Team Radious here!

Welcome to the fourth entry in our WHIII Radious Overhaul Development Blog! With Christmas and the New Year looming ever closer, we thought that it would be best if we could somehow get all of you in the festive  mood. So, naturally, we turned our attention to the Prince of Pleasure herself/himself/itself, because nothing is better at cheering people up and putting them in the festive spirit than an unhealthy fascination  with tentacles and the colour purple! We simply can’t imagine anything more Christmasy than talking about our incoming roster additions to the legions of excess, so, please, join us in our exploration of those for whom the idea of a safe word has become obsolete a long time ago!

Slaanesh:

Slaanesh, the Dark Prince, God of Excess, is  primarily worshipped by those who seek pleasure above all else. Everyone  that sell their souls to her seems to get what they bargained for in the beginning, but, sooner or later, all their senses and emotions become gradually twisted and warped until they become nothing more than self-centered addicts to the most disturbing experiences. With nothing ever truly being able to satiate their thirst for extreme stimulation, they prowl the mortal and immortal realms constantly looking for fresh  victims and increasingly disturbing methods of stimulating their unnaturally heightened senses.

Slaanesh Lord:

Flawless King

The leader of a tribe of Slaanesh worshippers will undoubtedly consider himself the true  embodiment of perfection, but his unsullied flesh hides a truly corrupted soul and a mind posessed by an unfathomable arrogance and egomania that constantly craves adoration of his followers and drives  them to search increasingly extreme experiences, even if their entire tribe gets killed in the process.

Knights of Torment

When Slaanesh is pleased with the offerings made by her servants, she gift them with a daemonic steed, a reward that is not only a great asset in battle, but is also the tool he wants them to use to hunt more souls for her to toy with eternally. A task they will revel in fulfilling as they will be now the first in tasting the fear of their preys.

These knights will be available on Slaanesh daemon steeds if possible.

Slaanesh Warriors

Slaanesh  is worshipped by those who are never satiated and always want more and  more. Those that are vain enough, and short-sighted enough, to make a  deal with the God of Excess, are usually satisfied with their reward, at  least until they also inevitably begin to find it lacking. Soon, their  senses and emotions begin to get number and number, up until to the  point until they can perceive only the most overwhelming sensations, and  they are prepared to commit unspeakable deeds just to feel something.

Slaanesh Chosen

Slaanesh´s favourite toys, these unparallaled warriors revel in the noise, the terror and the pain they cause and suffer, sometimes entering in ecstasy in the midst of battle and  losing all control of themselves. Something that makes them as unstable  and dangerous as any Khornate follower, though none of them would ever admit it.

Dragon Ogres

Having sold their  souls to the Chaos Gods millenia ago, it´s no wonder that some of the  Dragon Ogres have ended being fully corrupted by one. Those that worship  Slaanesh can be counted among the vilest creatures that have ever  existed, with thousands of years of horrific acts inflicted upon all  kind of victims just out of sheer boredom.
