I've been a subscriber to this channel long enough to know this isn't the place for other recommendations, but if we're all in the mood for mob gangster films, now is a great time for "Miller's Crossing". The Italian and Irish mafia go to war in 1929. And I didn't spoil anything, because that is scene one. A stellar Coen Brothers film. The writing really shines.
