I juste hate how they made older rhaenyra look so weak, everytime she speaks it sound like she is going to burst into tears. younger her is a BADASS and the birth of her children would have hardened her more. They should have kept that actress

Sometimes I do notice them not noticing or keeping up with certain things and then getting annoyed at them. Even in the later Thrones seasons it was happening, and while there is plenty of dogshit writing, some things WERE explained and they went on rants as if they weren't.
I'm saying all this with multiple rewatches under my belt though so maybe I'm being unfair to a degree. I just think it would benefit them more than anything to pay attention to the details etc.

I do think it would be nice to spend more time with characters in the North or the Hightowers. But this is the story of the Dragon, not Game of Thrones. Most of what we’re seeing is straight from the book. Some stuff is dramatized, and a few things didn’t play out the same way, but overall, the showrunners have stuck pretty close. It is not about shock value or being unpredictable.
You asked what we’re building toward? We’re building toward a war between the Hightowers and the Targaryens, which is the start of the dynasty’s downfall. This was built up in season 1 (probably could have been 2 seasons' worth). And when you see “random” characters pop up, maybe ask why they’re there in a productive way. Writers don’t usually just throw people in for no reason. I get that season 8 left a bad taste for a lot of people, but if you’re looking for that slow burn build GOT had, maybe give HOTD a fair shot. Otherwise, it does come across a little hypocritical.
One thing I’ve noticed is that a lot of reactors who disliked, hated, or were mad with season 8 don’t really pay attention to HOTD either. Forgetting character names or things that just happened 20 minutes ago is not just you; it is pretty common. It's an interesting phenomenon to observe, honestly - respectfully.

Lmao I understand the frustration. I don't think it gets better with all your concerns there at the end but its still entertaining watching you girls crash out. I think this is one of the better episodes this season, although I may be in the minority on that. Great reaction!

I love this show but it’s just wild how one sided it is to me like I enjoy fighting my feelings not being validated at every turn I got real life for that😂

I just don’t feel the show allows people to actually learn more about perspective and that forces you to seem like one side is being unreasonable, so it had to come to this but if they actually explained things in it’s entirely you would see all of it is pretty freaking reasonable in the times they are in😂talking about usurping a crown while actively ruining the velaryon’s, mind you they are no where to be found in game of thrones I wonder why…..

5:42 "The curse of Cristin Cole's cock", nice alliteration. - P.S. Maple's crystal ball is still undefeated, 54:14.

This is the moment I actually start to like Otto. He kept it real with Aegon and let it be known Viserys didn't want him to be king and the realm is the poorer now without Viserys
