2020-07-16 17:42:56 +0000 UTC@Nick B: Rotating mouse hands at work and at home seems like a great way of avoiding RSI too. 👍

2020-05-18 23:12:37 +0000 UTCi use dvorak on my phone, and qwerty on my desktop/laptop. i do this because i don't want to be a crotchety old man one day who only likes doing things the way they were done when he was young. slightly related: i use my mouse left-handed at work, and right-handed at home.

2020-05-18 04:29:43 +0000 UTCWhen I was typing a ton I started to get carpal tunnel symptoms and switched to a split keyboard. It helped alot. I've reverted to a normal one since as I've changed jobs. It definitely takes some getting used to!

2020-05-17 08:26:09 +0000 UTCQWERTY but yeah, CAPS LOCK defeated if not converted to CTRL (not always easy).

2020-05-17 03:41:12 +0000 UTCQwerty, but make CAPS LOCK into CTRL. Easy on the mac, can't believe it's still such a pain on windows.

2020-05-17 02:26:12 +0000 UTCI flirted with Dvorak in my youth.

2020-05-17 01:44:24 +0000 UTCI use QWERTY but I have been curious to go Dvorak every time I read about it but too lazy to actually learn the Dvorak layout. One day I shall switch over

2020-05-17 01:20:06 +0000 UTCI have a split keyboard and I enjoy it

2020-05-17 00:36:18 +0000 UTCI'm far too lazy to re-learn how to type, so nothing but QWERTY here. But this poll does remind me I used to be convinced John C. Dvorak invented the Dvorak keyboard.

2020-05-17 00:01:27 +0000 UTCI fear that if I switch to anything other than qwerty I have to travel with my own keyboard ~ I think people will start looking at me funny

2020-05-16 23:49:23 +0000 UTCANSI QWERTY in an ISO country: got to have those long shifts.

2020-05-16 23:37:09 +0000 UTCQWERTY is all I've ever known. What about split keyboards, though? Are they worth a try?

2020-05-16 23:18:25 +0000 UTCQwerty, but only because it's all I've had access to. Kinda want to try using one of the others at some point, if only for the novelty.

2020-05-16 23:18:17 +0000 UTCI type in Dvorak but I also have a custom layout for gaming that's based on qwerty, but shifted right by one key, and has some other keys moved around.

2020-05-16 23:18:13 +0000 UTCBring on an episode about the other ones! Should we change? (Me learned schoolbook touch on typewriter)

2020-05-16 23:18:10 +0000 UTCI was taught on an actual typewriter so QWERTY or nothing.
