I think you were right about the blood money the brought back from Chicago.

2025-07-27 06:41:44 +0000 UTCI love the underlying theme of Remmick being completely sociopathic from an eternity of loneliness and seeking connection. Its just such a fresh take on the vampire lore to explore that through Blues music and just the general human condition - pain, loss, kinship. Also that scene with Remmick dancing that Irish jig was such a cool visual with all their eyes glowing in the dark, like a demonic ritual to speak to the dead and kinda like some weird euphoric event.

Well, maybe not, sure there are F tier movies that have sex scenes that last for like 5 minutes at a time, multiple times a movie, but to bring it up during this movie is something I dont understand. People who love each other have sex, sex isn't shameful, its the most natural thing we do as humans. There is a total of MAYBE 2 minutes of sex in this movie. if my math is right that is like 1.5% of the movie being sex scenes. So there being "SO MUCH SEX" is just an overreaction. Edit: This is probably going to be my favorite movie of the year. The only other ones I'm waiting to see is "I know what your did last Summer"(I'm old and the original is still one of my favorites) and "Weapons"
