Back in the day we didn't have Succession to make comparisons with AD. We checked the characters against their real-life counterparts, the Bush family: George Sr., his wife, his older namesake boy, kind-of a f**k-up and known by his initials, his younger more responsible boy, a bit more boring but believing he deserves a shot, etc. Soon after, though, we would be introduced to the big HBO show with the most direct links to AD: Game of Thrones. https://arrestedwesteros.com/image/144517539255 https://arrestedwesteros.com/image/184901009455

2025-06-20 18:54:30 +0000 UTCMan, maybe it's because it's been ages since my last rewatch of this show, but I do NOT remember Marta's introduction being this early. It's also crazy that we're four episodes in and Zuckerkorn hasn't showed up yet. You guys are in for a fun new character soon, who's very good. Also, without spoiling anything, a throwaway line from Lindsey this episode makes me think this one was originally intended to air later in the season. Those who've also watched these original seasons too many times will probably have clocked the continuity error (or, possibly, foreshadowing), too.
