Elle didn't know what she was signing up for which is the main issue. If the fireflies had sat them both down and told them the only way to get the cure is by killing her then maybe they would have had the appropriate information to then make an informed decision. But they didn't do that, they put her under with no explanation and forced the decision upon Joel. He did what any parent would do, which is safeguard their child at any cost. He shouldn't have lied about it, but theres NO parent that wouldn't do everything they could to keep their kid alive. And if there are, they shouldn't be a parent

2025-04-24 03:29:48 +0000 UTCTLoU Season 2 is going to be very depressing guys. So maybe find a happier show to watch afterwards. I recall the second game being very depressing. I think the show does a good job making you feel what Ellie feels... at least in this episode. Ellie essentially has to navigate the world without Joel.
