This is one of the longest callbacks ever. In Episode 10 Season 1 Khaleesi told her people "I swear to you, that those who would harm you will die screaming". Early in Season 2 she sent her bloodriders to look for civilization when they were in the desert. One came back on his horse with his head in a pouch. Jorah said "it's a message from the Khals". All the Khals were in that temple. And they all died screaming.

She didn't call herself Stormborn. She was called that by the people of Westeros right after she was born. So the nickname stuck long before she had grown up.

Great reaction once again ladies. I am glad that you both commented on the crazy increase in travel speed all of a sudden. That was one of the biggest issues many had with this season. Some amazing episodes still to come in season 6!

Probably true, with GOT's virality I think it's impossible that they haven't seen something. Maybe not the door but they have had to see some spoilers.

Honestly it's one of the plot holes of the show that I like. I mean we have dragons and kitty demons so might as well get some fire resistance. What doesn't make sense is that she risked her life doing this. Cause while she is immune to fire she's not immune to a wooden piller crushing her.

They probably will, however GOT might wear them out after they finish season 8

If by now someone didn't think Ramsey was a psycho, eating a green apple is undeniable proof. Throwing a baby and his mother to the dogs counts too I guess...

I know she is called stormborne because she was born during a storm but I always thought she should call herself Daenerys fireborne it's cooler and more accurate

Yeah, they did Osha dirty. We didn't need yet another reason to hate Ramsay.

I don't know that Osha "deserved better". In some ways, I kind of like her end. The main issue I have with her death is that, very much like a big chunk of the final seasons, it just feels like tying up loose ends. It's like someone reminded D&D in the writers' room that Osha and Rickon exist and they were like "oh right, fuck, yeah, gotta do something about it", that's very much what that scene feels like. But all in all, the fact that she gets murdered by Ramsay just as it seems like she might get one over on him, is fine; it might just have been more impfactful if Osha had been at least somewhat important these last few seasons.
As to Dorne, I've already mostly said my piece; it doesn't make any sense. I get that they wanted this super hated storyline to end as quickly as possible, but yeah, just saying the Sand Snakes are in charge when that doesn't make any sense whatsoever, is fairly disappointing, to say the least.

Most of the deaths after S4 are not nearly as shocking or well written as what we were used to from how this show began. Well, I guess they were shocking in that we were shocked that the characters were killed off so unceremoniously, and without any character arc or intentional ending. This season has the last good one in its finale imo

I agree with you both that Osha deserved better. You know who else deserved better?? Prince Doran of Dorne (played by Alex Siddig)--in the books that whole storyline was amazing, and they just friggin killed him off for no reason other that, "we dont have time for your storyline, so you gotta get go"

Trivia time - the ending of the episode contradicts what the author of the books thought about Daenerys power, in the books her surviving the fire and dragons being born George RR Martin regards as a miracle, not an indication of Daenerys being Flame On guy from Marvel lol

That Harley Quinn show is super funny. If you ever wanted to see Bane at a Bar Mitzvah, that's your show.

Big episode next week. In the intro to the next weeks episode, might be interested to see if you could come up with any guesses as to what the episode title means before getting into it. "The Door"
