YOU DECIDE!!!

Hey y'all!
Chad Here,
So during our break we took the time to catch up on the Early Accesses so they would be closer to the release of the Unedited Watch Along content.

We came up with a plan to reduce how many episodes we watch per week in order to keep that gap as close as possible, but now we're wondering if you guys are even that concerned about the gap between those two projects in the first place.

If we watch more content then we will slowly rebuild that gap which is unfortunate, but is it more unfortunate than going down to 1 episode a week?

We'll let you decide!
Which is more important to you?

Correctamondo!

I primarily watch the edited videos, and i do feel left behind at times. But I'd never want the full length viewers to get fewer videos. Editing takes more time than posting a full reaction, so it understandably takes longer to post the edited videos. If there was a way to reduce that time, then that would be great, but not at the expense of other paying patrons.

The Josh

yes. this^

Patreon being well ahead of YouTube is completely normal. It's a great way to get people to sign up, if they really get into a show's reactions and are caught up on YT.

Smapdi

He's saying that over the break the edited down versions of the reactions basically caught up to the full-length ones. But, if they make their usual output of reactions that gap will increase again. He's asking if the people that primarily watch the edited versions feel left behind when the full-length people get their episodes out much faster. And in order to keep them relatively close they would have to cut back on their recordings overall.

I don't want to vote because I don't think I understand the question. Because it sounds like you're asking if we want less content because... symmetry? Or something? Speaking for myself, I don't watch the YouTube at all. To me as far as reaction channels go, the YouTube is an advertisement for the Patreon, and I'm already here. Sometimes I'll let a playlist run so the dog doesn't think I'm out (he's super old, and super blind), but aside from that I really don't care about the YouTube. With the best will in the world, this feels like you're coming up with what will be a very unpopular solution, to an imagined problem.

i am so confused which option is the one i am supposed to pick, but i want more full length eps of GoT

Tom Fehr

I only watch unedited, so definitely not bothered about the early access

Jorge Inho

This. I have no issues with unedited being ahead of early access edited, so long as the edited ones are consistently released and decently ahead of the free access eps. So if unedited was 10 eps ahead, I at least like to stay 5 eps ahead of the free access to feel like I'm getting a decent benefit.

Sean Godde

I only watch the full-length ones.

Trevor Go

Unedited all the way. Plus, I feel like more people would be willing to sign up to your patreon if they knew you were 10+ episodes ahead

Chad posted --the girls are taking a break until next week.

Chris Bruneau

I always assumed most ppl used patreon was for full length cuz everyone gets YouTube

TinCan Cosmanaut

Full length is where it's at. The youtube edits were only good for showing me that I'd enjoy watching shows and movies in full. Whatever you choose to do though, just know that I'm subscribed to other reaction channels, and I have to say, you all are putting out so much more good content consistently that I'm kind of amazed. This little break was well deserved.

Damien Lupo

Sorry if it's already been stated, but are we getting new BCS reactions today?

Savanis

I enjoy the full length reactions, so I don't care much either way :)

Chris Bruneau

I agree on both of your points. I only watch edited, I don’t have time to rewatch all of these shows, and I like how Chad cuts things down taking the best parts of episodes and the reactions.

Eric

saying that though I wouldn't mind a bigger gap/ lag behind if it was so edits could be released on some more predictable schedule to match the youtube ones. As nice as it is when several BCS all go up at once its always sad when I see a new one in my youtube sub box and open patreon hoping another one here

Harry Clabon

(This is more in response to other commenters mentions of there not being any value in the early access edits) please keep the edited releasing regularly. I know others love unedited watch alongs but I exclusively watch the edited versions. If I was going to watch the entire episode unedited I wouldn't have any reactors on I would just watch the episode. (I only watch reacts for series Ive already watched tbf)

Harry Clabon

I only watch for the early access anyways, so more of that lol. (I find it better to watch back to back early Access as opposed to just watching 1 a week on YT)

Tom Stretton

You could ditch the early access youtube edits entirely for all I care. That's no way to watch a show.

Andy Bice

Quality over quantity. Always.

Nick Grundy

Whatever works best!

FW27

Whatever feels most sustainable to all the talent involved. It's all good

Todd Bell

I have to admit that if you slow the pace, I will drop Patreon and just pick it up several months down the line. Rinse Repeat. I typically burn through a lot of content then move on to another Patreon for a while but I've stuck with you since I joined. I pay for 3 Patreons and have another 3 I just watch their YouTube so there are some temporary replacements always lurking.

TigerMyth

I only watch the full lengths. Since they include whatever discussion comes after, there's no need for me to watch the edits (unlike other channels where full length is just the episode with no intro or outro)

Kara

I mainly focus on unedited full watch alongs. Not too concerned with the syncing up of unedited and early access.

Mike Abe

Same x

More episodes a week also builds in break times. Set aside 5 to 8 weeks right now for the year where you don't plan to film at all

Eric Wallace

Agreed 👍

justlookin 28

While I pay for both the Full Length is the main appeal for me.

SabotheHunter

i don’t even pay for the early access because i prefer to watch the full episode with you guys, so keeping it 2/week would be what i prefer. however if most people prefer the edited versions then 1 per week would be fine i guess. it would just take much longer to get through shows
