Ted Lasso 3x6

Comments

The reason for the pillow fight, in the first season Ted offers team movie night or a pillow fight once and then no more movie nights

Eric Wallace

Actually, Hannah has said that she fought TPB to let Rebecca be seen without make up. That's how we got her makeless in 2x10 with Sam. I'm pretty sure she did it again for this.

I think you were talking over it (understandably) when Will was packing up the bus at the end and talking on the phone with his AirPods, saying, "Mom? Sorry yes, what was I saying? Ah yes, then I met the most lovely couple and they invited me for a threesome!" 😂

I mean, to the Rebecca thing, sure, I guess. But we all know that the real reason is that they wanted Hannah Waddingham to look good xD

Christophe

Only three actors signed and they were contracts for possible options. Although since then, there has a been a production list circulating saying production will begin on January 6th. Of course that could mean script writing, and not filming until later in the year.

Two things: 1) Remember the Dutch man has a daughter, so there were probably hair things in the bathroom for Rebecca to use. At the very least, a comb or brush since her hair was already up before she fell into the canal. And 2) Maple said during the pillow fight she would be worried about getting feathers in her mouth...I'm guessing y'all didn't catch it (most people didn't and I didn't until my rewatch), but when they are on the bus at the end singing Three Birds, and the camera is panning out to show all of the players singing too, you can see Sam start to cough, and Bumbercatch noticing as he coughs up feathers. However, it was probably a little trick as you can see them in his hand if you lookclosely. So funny and a good callback to the fight!

In regards to the lack of Keeley, I'm not sure, but I'm wondering if they originally had plans for her in Amsterdam and had to scrape them. Juno was filming her season of Fargo at the time so that's why she was absent a lot, and her storylines were clunky.

My grown ass would have walked out of that lobby hours ago.

Arson Stays Up Too Late Watching Video Tapes

IMDb already had it listed .. Season 4.

Christina H

There almost certainly will be. It was too successful, the actors options have been picked up etc.

Zane Platt

Pretty sure there's not gonna be a season 4

Christophe

This episode is perfection

That was my biggest problem with this season, it felt so scattered and not planned out except for a few beats here and there. I hope S4 is on par with the first 2 seasons when it comes out.

Purported74

Definitely. They probably would have loved this episode if they watched it. Shame they were distracted for 90% of it.

I think for once this is a season 3 episode that deserves its run time and doesn't overstay its welcome. I'm annoyed with how slowly the plot often moves in season 3 but this was kind of a one-off special episode, so I don't mind that the plot didn't advance much, that wasn't the point of the episode. And the scenes with Colin were very sweet. I do think the subplot with the team not being able to choose their night out was definitely the weakest part of the whole thing. Yeah there were funny bits in there with Jan Maas and Dani, and Isaac's over-the-top intensity is always hilarious. But it would have been a much tighter episode overall if the team had just gone off to party off-screen and we didn't spend all that time with them. That's kind of the problem with promoting guys like Isaac and Sam to the main cast, you HAVE to give them something to do even if the episode doesn't really need it. Even Nate made a completely unnecessary and nonsensical appearance in Ted's weird hallucination just for the actor to have the credit for this episode. Honestly same for Keeley, why was she even in Amsterdam if she was gonna go straight to Norway afterwards? Rebecca could have just told Roy that she was off with Jack and it would have had the same effect. But still, I do like this episode and what it does for the characters. Roy and Jamie are definitely always a great pairing and like I said, I like the pay-off we got from the Colin and Trent plotline, their scenes were great and Billy Harris knocked it out of the park. I also love Rebecca's scenes with the mysterious Dutch man, it was just so cozy and sweet, dare I say gezellig? Unfortunately, not to sound too harsh, in my opinion it's the last good episode of Ted Lasso. I don't know yet if I can bring myself to rewatch the rest of the show.

I think it’s one of the best episodes of any show I’ve ever seen. First time I watched, I sat there frozen for a minute, wondering what magic did I just watch. Then I immediately watched it again. I caught even more goodies. It never seems to get old. It’s perfect. It’s gezellig.

Christina H

I absolutely love this episode. I have been waiting for you two to get to it, so I’m happy now.

Jonathan Frey

It’s funny, my favorite episodes from this season are all the multiples of three: 3, 6, 9, 12.

I’m right there with you, Roy. I never learned to ride a bike either (I lived a quarter mile from school, my best friend lived within walking distance, and my mom was also a teacher so later in life I just rode to school with her so it just never really became a thing for me).

Jeff K

This season is very much a roller coaster of quality, but man is this not just one of the best episodes of the whole series!

Purported74

I'm not normally a fan of seeing someone eat during a reaction, but it made for a memorable moment during the Trent/Colin scene. 😆

Andrew T

I’m at work but I am SO EXCITED about this one!! I really hope you enjoyed it. 😍
