I never understood this theory, I see the small parallels but I just don't think it'll go that way. BUT, I'd gladly eat my own words if that's true and he ends up at that bridge. I say that, while also having my own theory that Dr Rush could be Scarecrow too haha .... idk, but I know I love this show.

I think you are being a bit too harsh on Oz. Take down Oz? The family should come first. Oz had no idea that was going to happen to her. The family made it happen. Now I would agree that since her brother was the only one to come visit her and try to get her out, that is the reason to take down Oz. Killing her brother. Not the asylum. The 4 family members who put her away deserve to go first. Oh, no, the Doctor who wrote the report. He should go first, then all of the family. I have a feeling she might need Oz against the other family. I could be very wrong on that. I started late so I don't know what has happened on the other episodes.

I will defend Oz in this one aspect, I believe him when he says he had no idea what would happen. I don't think he thought for one second it was going to go even the slightest bit badly. Having said that, I'll take this moment to remind people that Oz gave this heart warming apology to Sofia. Comforting her, and offering to rebuild trust...all the while 100% aware that he was the guy who shot her brother and framed her trusted and loyal body guard. That's when I truly loved this Oz as a villain. That's why he should be kingpin of Gotham city crime, he's just too untrustworthy and selfish.

Kinda of shows how they both emobody each other's insecurities. Sofia triggers Oz's hate towards rich and priveleged people, Oz triggers Sophia's hate towards men telling her "Don't worry sweetheart, I got this" attitude.

this episode almost broke me. If I would have gone through what Sofia went through, I'd easily crash out on everybody when I got out. Also, it's interesting to see how she might have possibly developed the gorging from Arkham, that place drives you insane if you're not already insane. Her resilience to overcome all of that plus the public perception that she is a crazy psycho Ted Bundy-esce killer....that's truely powerful and strong of her. Anyone in her position should be proud to be able to withstand that level of treachery against her
