Your complete lack of patience lol. Just incessantly slandering the best show in history because you can’t handle a storyline taking 2 episodes.

2024-12-18 01:11:00 +0000 UTCWhat is the stretch goal for you guys to get a real TV to watch these shows/movies on? What about to get your guys recliners or a sofa to watch on? LOL, you guys do so much work and its nuts that you are using like $20 office chairs for hours on end on a screen you have issues with glare.

2024-11-01 03:04:54 +0000 UTCWhat is winning her over is that he is consistently calling and embarrassing himself every morning to make her laugh, instead of begging , pleading, and apologizing.

2024-10-20 23:56:35 +0000 UTCOh yeah I forgot to mention that. They do a great job adding more depth to stuff like that in BB, bet Mike loved that job.

2024-10-16 16:07:18 +0000 UTCYes, right now there are two distinctive shows going on in each other's background. Kim and Jimmy's stories are about corporate politics, but we're getting to know Kim a lot better -- I'm fascinated that when that guy hits on her at lunch, she immediately calls Jimmy, initiating the con this time. And it allows insight into their relationship that in this case, as it was a few episodes back with KENWINS, either can walk in off the street and they can just riff with each other in front of the mark. Mike's story is similar to his story in Breaking Bad. He finds himself dealing with lowlife drug dealers -- and it's more fun because while there's a bit of danger involved, you know that he's always going to come out on top. When they reintroduced the twins, I flashed for a second on how satisfying it must have been for Mike to kill the second twin in the hospital in Breaking Bad season 3.

2024-10-16 15:53:49 +0000 UTC+1 to this, some later episodes of Game of Thrones are so dark it actually became a meme that nobody could see what was happening on normal / good TVs.

2024-10-16 14:42:18 +0000 UTCI tend to agree and part of the problem is the number of shows/eps they are doing on a weekly basis. As someone who is on, or has been on, a lot of other reactor Patreons, I was surprised that they do 2 eps a week for most shows. The problem is that reducing that when people have been used to it will generate complaints. It's not for me to say what they should do but I hope they prioritise their health.

2024-10-16 10:57:34 +0000 UTCFWIW and without spoilers - BCS does tend to be a slower paced show than Breaking Bad. It's one of the things some of us love about it. You might want to take that into account when scheduling. Or not, your choice, just providing info ;)

2024-10-16 10:49:10 +0000 UTCLook, I don’t know anything of their personal lives; how far away they live from each other, why they can’t meet up twice a week to record two separate batches of shows, so I was just throwing it out there. And besides, no amount of aesthetic changes can change the fact that they’re staring at a screen for such a long time and as a result might get a little more irritable and impatient than they would under more normal circumstances.

2024-10-16 03:10:25 +0000 UTCHopefully, you will all get your screen fixed somehow. In Game of Thrones, some very dark episodes are hard to see in the best conditions

2024-10-16 01:28:53 +0000 UTCI think it may not be good to think about this series as "this is jimmy turning into saul goodman" as it is "this is a story about Jimmys life" with some side things.

2024-10-16 00:45:50 +0000 UTCRight now The Jimmy storyline is a tad boring, but have patience, it gets really good really quickly!

2024-10-16 00:37:45 +0000 UTCThis show is full of so much symbolism, there is so much to notice and appreciate in all the aspects of filmmaking working together. The end scene has Jimmy frustrated with his company car, something that is sleek and shiny but doesn't accomodate Jimmy's unique personality and approach to the law. He keeps trying to make the coffee cup fit, but it simply was not made for the car, like he was not made for Davis & Main. He results to using drastic and destructive measures to FORCE his coffee to fit, as he does when he has shown us glimpses of Slippin Jimmy again, or at least someone who doesn't respect authority and the law as much as he should. And so he breaks it, just like how Kim confronts him on how he seems to be purposefully trying to tank his new job since day one.

2024-10-15 21:31:53 +0000 UTCthe total time is unavoidable if they're doing 2 eps a week, 3 long shows, plus 1-2 single episode shows, either they do one long session or two half-length sessions (and occupy 2 / 7 days of the week, plus travel). the comfortable-ness of the environment can be improved for sure though. get some comfy chairs, worry less about the perfect greenscreen, lower the camera, swap out the screen. the bright camera-friendly lighting is probably worse than the chairs, you could probably get some warmer lights and eat a small quality drop on the camera recording (color correct in post). humans weren't built to sit in office chairs + stare at screen + 'performing' (being switched on for camera) for 8+ hours, but this is a mostly solved problem (streamers do like 12 hour days made tolerable with environment changes). also idk the break situation, but building in breaks between eps might help (forced 5-10 mins, get up, walk around, step outside etc).

2024-10-15 21:31:47 +0000 UTCI remember watching Season 2 week to week and around this time, my buddy and I started referring to the show as "Better Call Mike" because the Mike-centric storyline just felt so much more engaging. Ultimately, the Jimmy/Kim/Chuck storyline is the heart of the show and picks up steam (as early as next week's episode), but I do remember feeling a similar sentiment around this batch of episodes.

2024-10-15 20:23:04 +0000 UTCI think Kim's feelings about her job and her career become a bit clearer later on. I think for her, HHM is just all she's ever known and her whole career, she was always furiously working towards some goal. She worked hard to get her law degree, then she went the typical path of becoming an associate and working up her way to the partner track and because of her law-school debt, she never really considered going anywhere else. She's never really stopped and considered what else she could do and I think she's also never really had anyone appreciate her worth like Schweikart did here. I kind of really get Kim here because for me it was the same thing when I was doing my degrees, I was just working towards getting that bachelor's degree, then getting my masters, getting into academia to get working on my phd somewhere, just constantly working towards some goal and not really considering what you actually want to do at the end of the day when you're done with all of that. And I also had that kind of lightbulb moment at some point where I realized, hey, I can actually choose what I want to do. And I think for the first time, with HHM being a dead-end and Schweikart offering her this new job, she's not only considering leaving HHM but maybe thinking more broadly about what she actually wants. Which is why this is more of a big consideration for her even if it might seem obvious to you that she should leave HHM.

2024-10-15 20:09:50 +0000 UTCYeah I agree. Like I love all the content you're churning out but not to sound too callous, listening how achey and uncomfortable you are, isn't the greatest thing to watch ^^' like pump the brakes a bit if you need to, it's probably better for everyone (and also, get some comfy recliners or something, what are you doing with these office chairs? xD)
Christophe
2024-10-15 20:05:14 +0000 UTCYou really shouldn’t be recording for 10 whole consecutive hours like this. It really does hurt the whole experience; your enjoyment of the show and basic, general comfort and well-being and - as much as I hate to say it - us viewers who don’t get to see you two at your awesome best. I mean if this is going to be an on-going thing then I think schedules really should be looked at. I’m sure everyone can appreciate that things might have to change to get the best Diet-Jesus possible.

2024-10-15 19:57:47 +0000 UTCThink of this show like a rollercoaster. You're still going up the hill. But once you get to the top... It's a wild ride down. 🎢
