Not gonna spoil anything in case you haven't seen the full show (which seems to be the case) but given his interactions with her later on it makes ALL the sense in the world why he acts the way he acts.

2024-09-20 21:47:58 +0000 UTCLast season was amazing but this weird tension between ted and the therapist is really taking me outta this one. feels like lazy writing forcing this situation on our main character because nothing else is happening with him.

2024-09-05 17:08:16 +0000 UTCHer line in the apology scene is quite literally “I set up the interview with Trent Crimm hoping that he would humiliate you”

2024-09-02 04:46:20 +0000 UTCRebecca's goal wasn't ever to humiliate Ted, though... it was to run the team into the ground. That it would likely be very humiliating to Ted was sort of an ancillary effect of her actual goal - to piss off Rupert by wrecking his beloved team. She was using Ted, for sure, but she never had any real animosity towards him - he was just a useful idiot to help her get over on Rupert. To be clear, that was a shitty thing to do to Ted, but hurting Ted was never the purpose behind her scheming - hurting Rupert was the goal, and she was just completely indifferent to anyone else who might get hurt along the way, including Ted.

2024-09-02 04:41:47 +0000 UTCI think the look from Rebecca and then her smiling was her seeing how Keeley felt about Jamie returning and that when she saw her smiling, as opposed to being upset about it, it made Rebecca happy. Nothing more comes from that "look" the rest of the season so there's nothing to worry about, but I'll admit the first time I watched this episode I was confused by her reaction too.

2024-09-02 04:19:17 +0000 UTCalso rebecca was an antogonist in season 1 so it made sense why she was like that. nate's been samwise gamgee up until now.

2024-09-02 02:11:29 +0000 UTCi dont think they think that nate is ruining the show. i think they know that the show knows that the nate situation is obvious and not being adressed so they're wondering when the show is finally going to have someone address nate's dickheadedness

2024-09-02 02:10:32 +0000 UTCI never thought about that, but it's true. I think something that helped though is that Rebekahs motives for her attitude was well established, but with Nate, not so much. We'll see!

2024-09-01 20:05:15 +0000 UTCI love even when jamie was a dick in s1 that he has always treated his fans kindly. he could have been rude to ted's son and the old lady bidding on him but he was sweeter in those instances than normal in s1

2024-09-01 19:48:45 +0000 UTCIn regards to Nate this season, please try to keep in mind that you didn't let Rebekah trying to humiliate Ted last season ruin the show for you.

2024-09-01 18:57:08 +0000 UTCI've always appreciated the scene right after Jamie leaves the TV studio, because it's planting seeds that Jamie isn't quite as big a prick as he comes across. He stops and signs autographs and takes photos and is kind to everyone waiting for him. It's the start of what you've now no doubt picked up on (after episode three in particular) is a nice redemption arc.
