If you and others are going to get on a moral high horse you need to stop cherrypicking and be fair. Here is what will actually happen though, YOU and the above commentor will do whatever mental gymnastics possible to explain away what people YOU currently respect did (you will claim a cover up, you will claim bias and so on). It is the same thing people do to justify Donald Trump and Kamala Harris on either side.

2024-08-05 06:45:59 +0000 UTCIf J.K sucks for having a different opinion on a complicated issue (which is your perogative and right) MLK (Kamala Harris has also done worse than J.K but will still get love from the same people who rage at J.K) should get worse treatment, he stole church funds, cheated on his wife (was also suspected of watching a rape occur by a friend and doing nothing) etc. All of that came from his very liberal biographer and is something I researched for Uni in an assignment I did on bias and perspective.
