2024-07-30 21:33:22 +0000 UTCJust with the trend of Hopper dying but not actually dying to something that absolutely obliterated everyone in the room in 3x1 + the fact that Brenner is seemingly the only suvivor besides El of One's rampage this episode + back in S1 that demogorgon brutally kills everyone else except Brenner in the school, he just tackled him and moved on I guess...they have a habit of giving people plot armor, especially with the Russia stuff too, while nameless soldiers/side characters have no escape from these threats.

2024-07-28 23:05:26 +0000 UTCJamie Campbell Bower plays both the human and the upside-down versions of Vecna. That’s why their facial features/expressions look so similar. It’s the same guy. Another fun fact: the upside-down Vecna look is almost entirely practical! Jamie Campbell Bower was literally walking around set looking almost exactly like how we see him in the show.

2024-07-28 21:44:31 +0000 UTCThe victor creel stuff happened in the late 50s not the 30s, so about 20 years prior to the flashback. Henry was probably born shortly after the war so would have been around 30 by that time. FYI, the finale is even longer (2h 22m) and more intense. Might be worth trying to find a dedicated day to watch that one rather than do it along with all your other reactions and be exhausted (even if it means a bit of a delay).

2024-07-28 21:25:57 +0000 UTCWe never saw brenners body. The demogorgon jumped on him thats all we saw. He clearly got that scar from the attacks. But they also told us straight up in season 2 episode 7 he was still alive.
