Meanwhile, the Japanese called his people savages themselves and the people he is calling savages killed a baby, chopped a guys head off for making a cross symbol and boiled a man alive so that a lord could listen to his dying... His people and the Japanese were savages at this point in time, people in the west just seem to glamorise eastern culture and demonise the west despite both being incredibly similar.

For example the wars against the mongols, the killing of Christians and the growth of Tokyo and geisha too. They could take from a lot of old written events and people.
