Breaking Bad 3x13

Comments

What a finale. As a veteran who has had some experiences I really feel for Jesse. This is how a normal person feels in that situation. Walt may be cold but he's right. "If it's between him and us, I choose him. No matter what happens Walt will always have a certain feeling of responsibility for Jesse.

Haha :D Same! Was planning to watch it with my dinner.

Didn't you say, the girls will love Kimmy? Cuz I'm right there with u!

Chris Bruneau

yeah! it's also not just about finding a cook of passable quality, it's about finding a trustworthy person they can slot into this huge drug empire apparatus. At this point in the show we can assume Gus has known Gale a long time and trusts him completely. Any cook they pick would have deep knowledge of Gus' entire operation, the lab etc, which is incredibly dangerous. It's what makes Walt and Jesse dangerous. It would take months, possibly even years to find a suitable cook + vet them / ensure they're trustworthy enough.

Kara

everybody stay cool, we just need to remain calm for 2 more seasons

Kara

Arianna did say she wants to see more of Mike, so yeah, cant wait for BCS!!!!!

Chris Bruneau

Just want to point out that they definitely could not find a different cook of that caliber in 3 days, it took gus months to find Gale. Also this is the first time Walt is directly involved in the killing of a more innocent person.

Japie

season 4 is so tense i cant wait

David Devora

nice catch there!!! pretty obscure, never would have guessed!!!

Chris Bruneau

Wait till you see the next episode, and season 4 over all is the best one in my opinion.

Chris Bruneau

the transition from that whimper "dont do this" to "your boss is gonna need me" is so BAD AZZ, Walt is now fully Heisenberg!!! Buckle up cuz, Season 4 is fantastic!!!

Chris Bruneau

my wife has one--says its Yitty brand--they are online

Chris Bruneau

I was laughing so hard at their commentary during the Chow scene. NOBODY TELL THEM ABOUT BCS! 👀 hahaha

Kara

I'm in love with Arianna! Lol. Hey where can I can that hoodie she's wearing?

Zech

Walt leads Jesse 4-1…for now. Well, in direct killings. And there’s Jane…call it 4.5 lol

I think Gale got the worse end of the stick than Jesse did guys 😅 Trying to dehumanize Gale wouldn't work at all with someone like Jesse. He feels deeply. And he murdered him up front. Gale wasn't innocent, but he absolutely didn't deserve that. That's gonna really fuck up Jesse. The saddest part was at first when he assumed that Jesse was a robber, but when he started crying, Gale could see he wasn't there for the money. Gus knows Walts weakness is his ego. Did you forget how he got Walt back into this deal in the first place? He played to his ego about being a man, plus they obviously know about his family at this point so they know his weak spots. Yeah when Walt spoke to Gus here, it's obvious he sees himself as his equal, but at this point it's more than survival. Walt sees Gus doing so much stuff that he admires with his intelligence, professional stature, and blending in plain sight. Walt doesn't just admire him anymore though. It's clear the way he straight lies to Gus, he wants to be him. Season 4 is freaking bonkers, and yall still haven't seen the peak of Breaking Bad. Can't wait for the next episode!

Bryan goes from a lighthearted–optimistic Hal in that opening scene to a: "Your boss is gonna need me" Heisenberg by the end of the episode. 🔥 Before Walt gets the call for Gale's address, he's on the couch holding Holly as she takes off his glasses while making it feel all too relatable to 'Phoenix', which was a pivotal episode in his arc. He had Holly, and took a life in the same episode. In this episode he actually plans out taking a life. This showcases the evolution of Walter brilliantly. While the camera sweeps across an old family photo they use Dave Porter's same song from the opener as well: '308 Negra Arroyo Lane' Spanish for "Black Stream'' symbolizing where he's come from- his family's dark path and the fall from innocence of the people around him. I wouldn't mind lingering in those types of scenes longer to soak it all in.
