It's deeply unfair but I think it shows how smart/strategic Zaheer's crew is that they left P'Li in the airship, like she's a modern day drone lol. Zaheer isn't stupid or cocky + values his whole team correctly. Tenzin is unbelievably proficient, Zaheer was barely landing hits and had to run away most of the time (airbenders must be soooo annoying to fight lol). It took 3 on 1 to take him down, he's powerful. It always makes me laugh when I watch that they paired Bumi with the lavabender like this guy only unlocked airbending like a month ago lmao, he's fighting a man who can generate instant-kill lava, jesus.

He could wash anyone 1-on-1, he's the only true living airbending master, he learned directly from Aang/the avatar and nobody knows how to fight Air as an element yet (Aang got the drop on a lot of people in ATLA simply because nobody had fought an airbender for 100 years).
