It's made very clear that the uncle was not guilty.

Season 11 has some of my all time favourite episodes. This is not one of them. for me it’s uncomfortable, yet also boring. I do like seeing Donna and Doug 2.0. And it’s funny that Sam and Dean are equally lame in their joke choices here, but still can’t give each other a even half-asses chuckle. Brothers.

kudos for finding a silver lining in this episode!

A pretty standard yet uncomfortable episode without any meaningful parallels (in my opinion). But! I have to give the episode some credit because it is the only supernatural episode out of all 327 that genuinely creeped me out

donna is a parallel for dean. he and her both don't want to go down the same roads. dean thinks messing with the cage is going down the same road but just like with doug it is not the same road.

Solid episode. I will say, the masks used for the killings were pretty freaking creepy.

i am always questioning some writers in this show but this season is more obvious in how uncomfortable some things can be

That and the fact that in the previous episode, there was a scene in which a teenage girl was professing her lustful intentions towards a grown man... (the optics of it are creepy) she's longing for him right in front of her father figure (and he's equally infatuated with her since she was a baby); idk I'm thinking some weird things about some of these writers. Did they go on to write for Euphoria or something?

uncomfortable is a good description for this episode, i don't like the case & how we don't know who to believe or why would those parents falsely accuse that guy of being inappropriate with their kids, seems like the show is omitting part of the puzzle, it feels weird, i couldn't draw any parallels from this episode either but it's always great to see Donna

I can't be 100% for sure, but given that the show tends to use song titles as episode titles, it's probably a safe bet that "Plush" is a reference to STP's huge 90's hit (which was inspired by the Polly Klaas case IIRC).
Also, this is the era of blatant parallels and fore shadowing. We shall see how this all adds into the big picture. But yeah - more sibling drama. HA!

This is a silly episode, but it has Donna - an actual return of a character! I liked her and was happy to see that they brought her back. I like how she and Dean get along. She laughs at his stupid jokes, and Dean seems to get a kick out of her. I ship them. Yep. Anyone that makes Dean smile like that gets a star from me.
I think this episode is just purely MOTW and no parallels to anything going on this season, or with either of the brothers.

you are spot on in saying this is just an OK episode. Without Donna, I would have no interest in it at all, except maybe Sam's clown thing.
