I watched a bunch of other reactions to this episode and was fun to hear multiple men say out loud how good Jensen looked cleaned up in his SB suit and also say that he had a sexy voice. Like the saying goes "we been knew".

I wouldn't parrellel Homelander & Soldier Boy exactly. Yeah, it seems like SB was a dick and treated his underlings like crap, but we have no indicator that he's a sociopath like Homelander. I would like to see HL depowered - even temporarily - for next season, so he can see what it's like to be normal.

I'm worried about Maeve. Starlight seems to think she has a death wish, and she hasn't been happy in a long time.<p></p> <p>Also, I don't know if it means anything or not, but Dominique and Tomer (and Jensen) were not on The Boys S4 Twitter announcement. It could just be a coincidence, esp since I know Tomer has other things he's working on and may not have been available in time for the announcement.</p>

I am with you....loved the episode but thank god for the musical sequence because it was such a depressing episode. Love the satire in this show, I definitely think they are a little bit more blatant this season than they have been in previous seasons which I cannot decide is a good things or not. From a real world point of view we need the message to be more blatant but on the other hand it took me out of the story a little bit. I am missing some of the humour from previous seasons but hopefully we will get more of that in the next episode. On a lighter note we have not seen much of Soldier Boy yet and he has not had that much dialogue but the physical presence and charisma oozing off him is so scary.

I keep thinking Butcher is the John Winchester of this story--not a bad guy at his heart, but so dead set on revenge that he's abandoning any morals he has and dragging everyone else down with him. As for Soldier Boy's powers, I'm not sure if he can control them or not--every time he's used them, he's been in a very emotional state. It'd be funny if he got in front of Homelander and couldn't do anything because he's not pissed off enough lol. Seriously though, I am picturing a scenario where maybe he could depower Homelander (temporarily probably) but then it turns out Soldier Boy is just as bad and there's no one around who can take HIM down. We'll see! Btw at the beginning, MM said "YOU don't care about Kimiko" not "I don't care about Kimiko". It seemed like maybe you thought he said "I". Apologies if I am wrong about that.

Loved your reaction to the dance sequence! A nice way to have a few light-hearted moments, before they rip Kimiko’s heart out. Nina certainly has nothing good for Frenchie. I dread what is coming next with that storyline. So sorry you were so distraught by the story, but I don’t think we even heard you once say, “Wow Jensen looks good in that suit.“

MM says to butcher "you don't give a shit about kimiko" not "i don't give a shit about kimiko", The symbolism of butcher having a similar power to his enemy (Homelander) with laser eyes & Hughie having a similar power to his enemy (A-train) with the teleportation/super speed, they're becoming the thing they hate most, also i love that legend said that butcher turns everything & everyone he touches to shit in an episode where Maeve gets kidnapped after sleeping with him (she better not die like becca) & Hughie becoming a junkie because of him & Frenchie also getting kidnapped because of him & hello! Frenchie used to kill kids!!! Wtf! I need some flashbacks of him working for Nina, i am glad you caught the soldierboy/ crimson countess & Homelander/queen Maeve parallel, both dudes just can't fathom how could women hate them, shocking, Mallory told soldier boy that no woman loves him, they're scared of him, the same with homelander, great reaction
