Very late to mention this, but there's a HUGE archive of X-Files fanfiction dating back to when the show was originally airing. http://fluky.gossamer.org/index.html is one of the mirrors. They've got entries up to the 2nd movie. You'd have to search elsewhere for anything involving the 2 revival seasons (seasons 10 and 11). But yes, this episode definitely gave birth to a lot of fanfics. ❤️
