One theory I've heard bandied about is that Edgar gave Queen Maeve the information that would lead them to BCL-Red (Soldier Boy). Also, that Edgar knew that SB was taken by the Russians. My personal theory is that Edgar & Victoria planned the press conference as it went down. He outright told HL that he taught Victoria to play all sides; he wasn't afraid of turning his back on him up in the board room; the conversation at the press conference seemed kind of pointed.<p></p> <p>According to Jensen, SB's motives are revenge for the torture he's been put through the last few decades. Shades of Dean in Hell.</p>

2022-06-13 06:51:15 +0000 UTCWaiting for this episode to drop last Friday was an experience I've not felt in such a long time. The excitement to watch for new content was palpable. The last time I felt like this was when I was live watching and anticipating new episodes of SPN, which was a long time ago - in the year 2020? Twitter was such a mess as people expected Prime Video to drop the episode in the same time period as ep 1-3, but it didn't. Only certain people were able to watch the episode, though there was no fixed pattern on how they managed to get the episode. Not helping the situation were TheBoysTV and PrimeVideo, who had then hilariously gone radio silent, lol. By the end of it, I think the first account to address the frustrating situation of the non-episode drop was Eric Kripke himself. From @therealKripke Twitter: - Hey guys. As for me, 3+ hours after the expected drop time, which I assumed was at 12 am GMT, I managed to watch it via my own ... ahem, source, which was the same time period as the previous 3-episodes dropped. .... And the episode did not disappoint. Though since Soldier Boy's scenes were only about 1+minute screentime in the current timeline, I'm expecting the same kind of anticipation will rise again and be there too for ep 5, in which they will further address the continuation of his plot. ... and I cannot wait for it ....

Oh, The Boys. 😜 How. Da fudge. Could you. I *know* Soldier Boy is the literal worst, yet you've made me hope for him to save us! You've proven what Homelander said last episode that we "need [Soldier Boy] to save [us]. [He's] the only one who can." The world-building alone, themes aside – just -- how dare you. Kripke is an evil genius.

2022-06-12 23:23:50 +0000 UTCbutcher acknowledging that MM is a natural born leader was so satisfying coz that's what i have been saying since the beginning, he's the only one i trust to lead the boys, alex's supe name is supersonic not shockwave, shockwave was that speedster guy that was gonna replace A-train last season, i am sad we didn't even get to see supersonic use his powers, i didn't even know what they were until i looked it up, his power is sonic clap, he can generate powerful sound waves, not that it matters now, RIP, Frenchie sympathizing with the imprisoned hamster even when MM told him to leave it alone, then it fucks shit up but the hamster comes around & helps them is exactly how we met kimiko, frenchie setting her free even though MM told him not to & it fucked shit up but she ended up joining them coz of her attachment to frenchie, frenchie just can't see anyone locked without releasing them lol, kripke said in a recent article that cas's entrance was the most epic entrance he's ever done & that was his inspiration for wanting to give soldierboy somewhat of an epic entrance as well, i didn't for a sec believe that A-train wouldn't take this opportunity to snetch & get back in homelander's good graces especially now that he can't run anymore & is basically useless to him, i was screaming at supersonic not to tell him, kimiko & maeve better not die this season, i feel so bad for starlight, great reaction

And how many lines or portions of lines of dialogue on The Boys jump out at you because we heard them first on Supernatural? I would love to have some sort ofan discussion in the future after we've watched all of this Season 3.
