I loved this reaction. I always felt this is when the part of the season that makes Korra as a series becomes way more intense. I think the lava moat fight is probably the best fight of the series or at least the most intense. These are some of my most rewatched episodes.

2024-01-06 15:55:20 +0000 UTCi love this episode so much cause it shows korras growth as a critical thinker and her leadership skills, she really took charge and had the answers right away at every moment. i also love the small clips of a curtain character that appears next season cause it’s fun to see and hear them when they arnt a main character ;)

Shoutout to the Zaofu guards for being the most effective unnamed fighters in ATLA history lmao, they surround the attackers with metal plates, 2 of them pick off Zaheer and hold up against him 2-on-1, while another group almost manage to bridge to the middle. Love that the villains take an L and have to retreat, it's refreshing, shows they aren't unbeatable (just really really really good + scary).
