I love that this episode begins with morgana asking Gwen if there's a man involved & gwen replying where do I get to meet decent men, what a burn to Arthur but then enters Lancelot, a decent man, nice touch, Watching this episode with 1x05 "Lancelot" back to back also shows a pattern with Lancelot coz in 1x05 Arthur was convincing Uther to make Lancelot a knight & Uther was actually this close 🤏 to accepting coz Lancelot had just saved Arthur's life but Lancelot enters the room & says he's not worthy them fighting among each other because of him & that he wouldn't come between them & that he will go work on his skills some more to be worthy of the title even though his skills weren't the problem at all, it was that he wasn't from a noble family & that's not something you can fix by training, whenever he's close to getting something he wanted for so long, he feels unworthy & he self sabotage or maybe i am reading too much into his actions but i thought i might add this to the list of potential reasons why he left

2022-05-20 23:26:28 +0000 UTC“Show…watch your show” soo trueee! Out of all of the possible couples here, to me, Arthur and Gwen are the ones who made the least sense! I just really love them all, loved how everyone here cares for each other (except for Uther, never Uther) and it was just so great to see Lancelot again, he has this not deserving complex that makes him want to go away thinking people its better off without him 😫 I just want for him to know that he’s loved and he’s deserving 😭 (if Gwen doesn’t want him, I’ll take him😌) but you were right, he’s so pure for this world… Anyway, loved this episode, love the reaction. This episode showed how great the couples of Merlin/Arthur and Gwen/Lancelot would be! Im gonna re rewatch this cause its so great 💕 Ps:Please tell me I was not the only one who thought of “I’ll just wait here then…” of Cas when Merlin said “I’ll just sit here then…”
