You can't let them leave off on this one. Fallout is up there with Top Gun Maverick as one of the best action movies ever made. Gotta finish off the series & I bet the last 30 minutes of Fallout might change their view on the whole series.

This is really a transitional movie in the franchise as McQuarrie takes over and they rework it into a more cohesive story rather than the episodic tv adaptation it started as. It does feel a little weird because the main action set piece is in the middle of the movie and thereβs still a whole lot more plot stuff to sort through.

2023-07-27 03:53:27 +0000 UTCIn regards to the BMW flip while it may have looked a bit awkward because of how they filmed it, them being okay on the inside is actually not that far off real life. Modern-day cars are jam-packed with airbags to protect you in most situations, the biggest danger in car crashes nowadays is actually being t-boned, decapitated, and rolling (because most cars do not come with roll cages to protect from the crushing of rolling), however when watching movies you just have to suspend your disbelief and accept that in this on-screen world, all cars have roll cages. The bike stunt on the other hand while the way he fell off is definitely survivable especially the way he tucked and rolled he would in fact have many layers of skin torn off all over his body so yeah him looking relatively normal in the next scene is a bit ridiculous. Next, the stunts of this movie while they were definitely not as exciting as the last movie they were still pretty difficult to do, for instance, Tom Cruise did in fact hang on to the side of a plane and did in fact hold his breath for 6 minutes. Finally, on your overall thoughts on this movie, remember this movie is to serve as the start of a trilogy of movies so it definitely was a bit different that most other MI movies but definitely did include a lot of callbacks to the first film. All that being said many of your critiques are valid but be sure to keep all of it in mind for the next sequel MI:Fallout which should address all of your concerns and exceed your expectations. Excited to watch y'all watch it, hopefully, sooner rather than later because it is better if you can recall this movie while watching the sequel but is either way a very good watch.
